About The Manual

This beautifully presented 152 full colour page manual is designed to assist the helicopter instructor with every day teaching.

"The Helicopter Instructors Manual" is aimed at both current instructors and the 'more advanced' helicopter licence holders wishing to obtain their instructors rating, it is the ideal addition to your helicopter reference library.

Based upon the approved UK Civil Aviation Authority course (CAP421), "The Helicopter Instructors' Manual" brings to life the aims, pre & post flight briefings & flying exercises needed to be taught to the helicopter student wishing to obtain their private pilots licence(helicopters) in a clear, concise & easy to read manner.

Following 14 months' research & development "The Helicopter Instructors' Manual" was released, in its current form, in 1996.  This followed   several discussions & proof readings by several highly qualified members of the 'Helicopter Industry' from both military and civilian organisations.

Whilst aimed in particular at the Robinson R22 Helicopter, the majority of information and topics covered within the manual will apply to helicopters in general.
